Detective "Dee" Acevedo

Detective Domingo "Dee" Acevedo is a Puerto Rican American who has both served in the Marines and his home State's police force with integrity and honour. He had a lot of respect for old man Marcus Vanderbilt and saw how his mother's death undid both the man and his faith.  He sat one night and did serious damage to a bottle of whiskey with Marcus and talked about...well there are few people he'll tell what they spoke about.

Acevedo swore two things that night; to never take it personally for one and to keep an eye on old Marcus' elder son Charles, on his way up from Academy a couple of years behind him.

A life-long Catholic, Acevedo had been seen recently wearing a yarmulke and attending a small synagogue in Decatur.
